Get Outside and Explore with PLT

Explore strategies for engaging in outdoor activities directly applicable to the space you have available at your center or school at the new Oak Hill Children’s Center outdoor classroom.  Learn more about developing and using the outdoors as a classroom, while using your five senses to explore the natural world around you through a sample of hands-on activities that meet the National Association for the Education of Young Children criteria for curriculum, and the Head Start Child Outcomes’ Framework.  Receive the Project Learning Tree Early Childhood environmental education guide with almost 100 activities and an accompanying audio CD you can use with children the day after this workshop. This workshop is tailored to early childhood educators, and materials will be available for educators working with older children as well.
